It is proposed that finished products containing steel or aluminium be included from 1 January 2028. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Among the new tariff headings added, we can find* :<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Iron and steel<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strands and cables<\/li>\n<li>Metal mesh, wire mesh and trellis<\/li>\n<li>Helical springs<\/li>\n<li>Springs and spring bladesessorts et lames de ressorts<\/li>\n<li>Tableware, kitchenware or other household articles, and parts thereof<\/li>\n<li>Cast iron, iron or steel moulded items<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Combined metal products<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Industrial machinery <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diesel or semi-diesel engines<\/li>\n<li>Fuel pumps<\/li>\n<li>Fuel burners<\/li>\n<li>Cranes, derricks, overhead travelling cranes, bridge cranes and crane trolleys<\/li>\n<li>Lifting or transport equipment<\/li>\n<li>Machinery and equipment for public works<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Household appliances <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Refrigerators and freezers<\/li>\n<li>Washing machines and tumble dryers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Electrical equipment<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electric motors and generators<\/li>\n<li>Transformers<\/li>\n<li>Wires, cables and conductors for electricity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Vehicles and components <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trucks and commercial vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Bodywork and chassis<\/li>\n<li>Gearboxes, wheels, suspensions, and radiators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Metal furniture <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seats with metal frames<\/li>\n<li>Metal office furniture<\/li>\n<li>Furniture containing steel and aluminium<\/li>\n<li>Prefabricated structures containing steel and aluminium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical and medical devices containing metal<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Metal tubular needles<\/li>\n<li>Nerve stimulation devices containing steel and aluminium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Others<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wire fencing and trellisesGrillages et treillis<\/li>\n<li>Nails and staples<\/li>\n<li>Fittings\/Hardware for furniture<\/li>\n<li>Capsules, stoppers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Many new operators will need to adjust their sourcing and customs <a href=\"https:\/\/paradigmes-avocats.com\/en\/2025\/12\/11\/cbam-macf-d-20-are-your-contract-agreements-up-to-date\/\">clearance strategies<\/a> and anticipate their carbon costs. <a href=\"https:\/\/paradigmes-avocats.com\/2024\/04\/19\/rde-faut-il-accepter-detre-un-declarant-macf\/\">Customs representatives<\/a> offering <a href=\"https:\/\/paradigmes-avocats.com\/en\/2025\/09\/18\/customs-representative-acting-as-authorised-cbam-declarant-between-danger-and-opportunity\/\">authorised MACF declarant<\/a> services will be able to expand their range of services.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>PARADIGMES is at your disposal to offer training that will enable you to understand and anticipate these regulatory changes and avoid <a href=\"https:\/\/paradigmes-avocats.com\/2024\/01\/11\/macf-sanctions\/\">penalties<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>* This list is neither exhaustive nor detailed.
